My little Monkey-man loves making crafts. These he made for his little girlfriend that lives next door. Paper tulips are quick and easy to make. What you need:
Green colored paper (if you don't have green, you can color some white paper with crayon)
Paper egg carton
Colored tissue paper
Cut out egg cups, then cut 4-5 inch squares of tissue paper.
Put glue on the insides of egg cups and wrap with tissue paper, pressing firmly to glue.
Poke a hole in the center of the bottom of egg cups with pencil.
Turn green paper sideways and fold into quarters, cut along folds, roll into tube using pencil and glue edge down, slide out pencil.
Draw and cut tulip leaves and glue to stem then slide into hole on the bottom of the tulip top.
You now have a paper tulip!
Any vase will do, or you can use your imagination to create one of your own. Monkey-man used an old plastic pot (last year's pansies came in it from the garden shop) After wrapping it in tissue paper, he placed it inside an empty plastic container he had also wrapped with tissue and decorated.
